Prices remained firm to slightly dearer for most types at today's South Island wool sale, except for lambswool of 75mm and shorter which struggled to find competition amongst a full bench of buyers. Good coloured fleece on a very nominal offering showed some encouraging signs leading into pre lamb. Lack of Chinese support was evident in the finer crossbred types and lambswool.
