The first sale since Level 4 lockdown on 26 March was held in Napier today. It has been nine weeks since the last New Zealand wool sale and the market opened vastly cheaper and that trend continued throughout the day.
India, most of Europe and the UK are still in varying degrees of lockdown leaving China the only major buyer operating in the market.
