N36 – Wool Sale – 4 March 2021

Prices at todays North Island sale continued the recent upward trend and were fully 10 to 15% dearer than the last North Island sale two weeks ago. Most exporters have been reporting good enquiry and solid sales and this was reflected in 98.5% of the offering selling today. Well prepared, good colour, wool was keenly sought after and today was bringing a 40 cent premium over the average and poor wools.

XBD Fleece and 2nd shear ~ 10 to 15% dearer.
XBD 1st Lambs ~ Generally 12 to 18% dearer.
2nd Lambs ~ Generally 10% dearer.
XBD Oddments ~ 8 to 12% dearer.

Passings:
Sale approximately 1.5%
CPW 1.5%
