Prices continued to move in a positive direction at todays South Island Wool Sale. The market is certainly reacting positively to better coloured wools coming forward, which saw significant increases for good colour fleece, and second shear types on the back of a softening $NZ by 3.7%.
With China in continued lock down we are seeing increased enquiries from Europe and India, but continued issues with shipping is still causing issues amongst Exporters. A small offering of New Season Mid Micron wools saw prices erratic.
