With a large offering of high colour full fleece wool on offer, todays market struggled to maintain levels of previous South Island sales. Poorer styled types were up to 20 cents cheaper (12%). Crossbred second shear was also affected, being up to 18 cents cheaper. Issues with shipping are causing major headaches for exporters will wools destined for overseas continually being pushed back weeks.
