Home C20 – Wool Sale – 15 November 2023

Pricing for crossbred types underwent a market correction downward at todays South Island sale. Most types were easier by up to 7%, which was disappointing as confidence being restored in the market in prior weeks.
There is still some concern when the North Island scour will be operational, which has seen some overseas customers waiting until clarity can be given on when deliveries can be made.
Mid micron (21 to 30 micron) also eased by up to 4 to 5 %. The final offering of any quantity of merino wools saw the market make some gains on the back of a solid Australian market recently.
