Today's wool sale saw prices in buyers favour. Competition was well spread amongst exporters with business overseas continuing to be a battle. With approximately 17% of the catalogue withdrawn prior to sale, we are seeing growers not accepting these current levels and are prepared to hold until there is a substantial improvement. The first of the new season Mid Micron wools coming forward saw prices well back on last season but at levels that are acceptable.
